Join us for a brief IEA Georgia Chapter meeting followed by an interactive exploration of the Enneagram and the Instincts including all-new material on how to work with the Self-Preservation, Sexual and Social Drives.
Special guest: John Luckovich
The Instinctual Drives are just as important to understand on their own as the Enneagram Types. The Nine Types without the consideration of Instinct is a deeply limited picture of what the Enneagram of Personality can unlock.
Each Instinctual Drive exists to address these specific needs grounded in our biology. These needs are more than just basic survival—they speak to a basic quality of physical, emotional, and psychological well-being that is necessary for a satisfying and well-rounded life and inner life.
In this introductory talk, we'll see how leveraging the inherent wisdom of the Instinctual Drives can support our Inner Work or how they can alternatively sap our attention and the very energy necessary for real transformation.
John Luckovich is an Enneagram teacher and leads retreats and workshops specializing in the Instincts. He has been involved in studies of the Enneagram and inner work and practice for over ten years, and is completing teaching certification with the Enneagram Institute. His interests have led to a deep involvement in Gurdjieff and meditation practice, and he is an apprentice psycho-spiritual facilitator in Integrative Breathwork through the Inspiration Consciousness School in Baltimore, MD, where he has been studying for five years. John has taught numerous Enneagram workshops and classes in the United States and Italy for children, teens, and adults. He currently offers Enneagram private consultations.
