9’s and 4’s in Relationship:  Learning through Live Panels

The Enneagram system is an excellent resource for our relationships.  When we develop an awareness of our habit of attention and the resulting use of our energy we can use this awareness to grow and make positive changes in our relationships.  This presentation will look specifically at the gifts and challenges of 9’s and 4’s in relationship. Virginia DuPre will facilitate live panels of people who identify as either a 4 or a 9 and who are in a 4/9 relationship pairing of some sort, whether it be a friendship, life partner, or colleague.  The panelists will share what they experience as their own type’s gifts as well as it’s challenges for relating and the gifts and challenges they experience in a 9/4 pairing. Live Panels are a fun and helpful way to hear and see ‘first hand’ about the Enneagram Types.

Virginia DuPre is a counselor and art therapist in the Decatur/Emory Area.  She is trained in the Narrative Tradition of the Enneagram.  She facilitates several women’s groups, all of which include some use of the Enneagram.  She says,  “The Enneagram changed my life personally, and I’ve witnessed it change others as they learn the system and how to use it to deepen their self awareness.”  Virginia has taught live panel classes on the Enneagram for 15 years and says she learns something every time she witnesses and/or facilitates a live panel.
